My last beach day!

Even though mom and dad don't love the beach, they loved to take me there because I LOVED IT so much! These pictures are from family beach day, when everyone went for a picnic and fun in the water. I really liked being in the water with dad...but I didn't like the seaweed so much. What I really like was playing in the sand...mom says I'm ALL BOY!!!

Enjoying (?) a CapriSun

Laughing!! I'm funny!

Enjoying the water, but watch out, seaweed lurks beneath the surface!!!

Dad protecting me from the seaweed...

YUCK! Look at all the seaweed stuck on Dad's legs!

Funny face boy playing in the sand!

Family Pictures #2

Here are a few family pictures we did on Wed. of the vacation. Mom and Aunt Amber picked out matching outfits for all the girl cousins, and all the boy cousins. I was in no mood to have my picture taken and was being quite a stinker until someone bribed me with gum...it did help me to stand nicely in the pictures, but you can see the gum in almost every single one! Oh well!!!

FVC #3- Beach day number 2!

Wed. afternoon we walked down the beach in the hopes of finding Papa, who had walked down with my girl cousins while I was still sleeping. We never did find them, but Mom got her favorite shot of the whole vacation!

FVC #3- Fun with Cousins

Here are some picture of my cousins and I having a good time. Mom didn't get as many pictures me and my cousins as she would have liked, which is strange, because I was with them 24/7, and when I wasn't with them, I WANTED TO BE!!! Mom bought a bubble gun to bring, and it was a big hit. The only problem was that there was only one, and EVERYONE wanted to use it. I also liked dumping the bubble solution on my head and rubbing it into my hair, telling mom (or whoever was around) that I was washing my hair. (this happened several times) Another big hit was riding scooters, which papa bought for us before the trip, and our parents put together for us once we got there. I never did quite figure out how to get mine to move forward, but I loved to stand on it, and was very protective over it to make sure NO ONE else rode it!

(Love that chocolate ice cream mustache!)

Can you tell I L-O-V-E bubbles???

Running through the bubble mist!

Hailey using the old method of blowing bubbles

Alyssa (9) Doing the "bubble dance!"

Even Uncle Tyler and baby Katie got in on the bubble action!

Here are Hailey and I watching some Caillou (MY FAVORITE SHOW) before bed time. This second picture shows a REAL ACT OF LOVE! Let me explain, Bumble Bear is my most prized posession. Every night I use his little paw to softly rub under my nose. When I am feeling really loving towards someone, I will use bumble's paw to rub under their nose, to share my special bear and my love with them...and I will be honest, it doesn't happen very often!

FVC #2- Family pictures

On Sunday afternoon we took our first set of family pictures with these cool shirts that Gramma got for all of us. I ADORED mine the minute it came in the mail, and have been wanting to wear it ever since. It was a little big, so mom had to tie it in the back, but overall, we had a great time.
This is the WHOLE family. In medium blue on the top left is Tyler, AnnaMarie and Katie, in pink is Scott, Aorora and Scott's fiance Jen, in light blue is us, in black is Ryan, Emily, Peyton, and Hailey, in torquise is Brit, Tricia, Taylor, Alyssa, Makenna, and Jonathan, in orange is Gramma and Papa, and in red is Amber, Brandt, Kalle, Oakley, and Brennen.
This is a picture of Gramma and Papa with all their grandchildren in 2008! (the boys are finally starting to catch up!)

Here is a picture of Mom and her brothers and sister with Gramma and Papa. Top Left to Right is Tyler, Scott, Ryan, Brit, then Amber, Grandpa, Gramma, and Mom.

FVC- Sunday- I meet the beach!

I had been so tired out from the day before that I slept in until 9:45...that is ABSOLUTELY UNHEARD OF from me! Everyone left and went to church at 9, so mom and dad just stayed back to have a peaceful morning and wait for me to wake up. When I did wake up, I was so sad my cousins were gone that I could hardly be consoled. Mom and dad decided to take me on a walk to see the beach for the first time. Mom thinks it was just about the cutest thing she ever saw...and as a result she took A LOT of pictures...here are just a few...

Me and Dad on the trail to the beach

I see the ocean for the first time, and I AM AMAZED. We were on a walkway overlooking the beach, and I kept saying..."Lout! Water is Lout! Beach is Lout!" (Lout= loud)

Here is daddy walking me to the water's edge for the first time

Just checkin' out the water...I LOVE IT! (And I'm a little scared too!)

Getting ready to run...just in case!

Running to the water's edge with Dad...

Running away from the tide with Dad
Mom and I took the relaxed approach...kicked off our shoes and waded right in!

I found a small inlet running down the beach, and it was much more my size...the water was warm and slow...and if there's one thing I can't resist it is warm water!

Towards the end of our beach jaunt I was wet, sandy, and a little cold. I was pretty ready to head back.

After we got cleaned up from the beach there was a family picnic and carnival (can you tell we were on the orange team??), but it was my nap time so I only got to stay for lunch...oh well... I guess I didn't know what I was missing! Here is mommy and I, a picture of dad pretending to be tough, and a picture with Gramma right before I headed in for my nap. (in which, you can tell how tired I am!!)
