Halloween Night 10-31-08

A few funny things happened tonight. Me and our next door neighbor's grandson, Vincent, ended up going trick-or-treating together. We are good buddies (even though he is a year bigger and a little bit of a bully to me!), and we were both dressed us as "Scary Monsters" (Dinosaurs). Anyway, Mom thought we made the cutest darn pair you ever saw in your life! Me and Vince got to go up to the doors by ourselves, and we said some pretty interesting things...

Door #1- Wow! hello monsters!
Vincent- We are going to all the houses, do you have any candy?
Jaxon; Yeah, give us some candy!

Vincent decided he was done trick-or-treating after about 20 minutes, and I followed suit.
Mom said, "Jaxon, don't you want to get some more candy?"
Me: "NO MOM! I already have TOO MUCH candy!"
Mom told me she was going to write that in my journal, because she's pretty sure I would never say it again.

When we got home I took off my monster costume because I was too hot, and I handed out candy in my diaper with Dad. One little boy about 4 or 5 came to trick-or-treat and just stopped and stared at me. He then looked at Dad and said, "Uh, sir...why is your son naked?" For some reason it struck us as pretty hilarious. I only had candy for dinner, and I went through several stages of sugar high/crash and burn. On my high I was running in circles, flapping my elbows in some sort of chicken dance, oh man was it funny.
