We had a fun ward egg hunt yesterday, and Aunt Amber and her kids and grammie and papa also came. I got lots of eggs, and generally had no idea what was going on, or why Daddy was dragging him from bush to bush pointing out eggs to put in my basket, while Mom attempted to take pictures! This afternoon we are off to delicious dinner at Grammie and Papa's, and let me just say how much I LOVE MY GRANDPARENTS! Seriously, I cannot say how wonderful they are. Every Sunday is special to me when I get to see my cousins, so this one will be extra special!

Thanks for the ears Grammie!

Like Father Like Son! (and boy are we a handsome pair!!!)

Please Jaxon! One good picture with Mom...is that too much to ask???
Yes, yes it is too much to ask ...

All's well that ends well. (you can see that I am thrilled with this arrangement!)

Fun with mom

Today mom and I went to Val Vista Lakes to "look" at the streams and bridges on the "mountain." (really mom just wanted to take some pictures of me) but the mountain was closed because of a wedding. I REALLY REALLY wanted to play in some water and I was just too sad for words when we couldn't go up. Mom (knowing it was a risky idea...) let me stick my toes in the water at the sand pool, and this is what followed-

"Just my Toes mom, I promise!"

"Did I say just my toes, I meant my bum too"

"Farewell shorts"

"Diaper, you're next!"

"CHEEKY Freedom!!!" (and a lovely water-ballet move!)

"Free at last!!"

Watching good ol' me!

I really love to watch home videos of myself, and obviously from this picture, I find myself quite funny. When I was smaller (barely one) mom would turn on these videos to watch while she fed me breakfast because otherwise I just wouldn't eat. Now I just really enjoy watching myself, and Mom and Dad think it's great!

Jaxon Update

With me being so busy, and SO TALKATIVE lately, if mom doesn't write in my Journal everyday, it seems like we miss so much. So here is what's been going on-
1. I put myself in time-out yesterday because mom said if I didn't help her pick up the dry macaroni I had been playing with, then I had to go to time out. I went and sat in time out and yelled, "Mommy turn!" ( That means I want mommy to clean it up)

2. I got a new golf club set, and I LOVE IT! There is only one problem, I hit everything I can possibly think of except the golf balls, which I refuse to hit at all!

3. Mom and Dad are trying to let me be more independent and help dress myself. I am getting pretty good with my shirt, if someone will just pull it over my head (I can find the right hole, but Im not strong enough to pull my head through) This is a picture of me when I put my pajama shirt over my regular shirt and refused to take it off for the next few hours!

Favorite sayings

Now that I am talking up a storm, I really crack Mom and Dad up! I really love to play with dry macaroni noodles, scooping, pouring etc. When I'm done, I am supposed to clean them all up before I play with anything else. I always tell Mommy, "All done!" and Mommy sings the clean up song for me. I then will put one noodle back in the tupperware and shout, "Mommy turn!" (This means mommy is supposed to clean up the rest). Yesterday at church, Mommy gave me a piece of candy with a wrapper. She asked if I wanted help unwrapping it, and I said, "Jaxon do it!" After about a minute of trying to get the wrapper off (Unsuccessfully) I said, "My Goodness!" Mom and dad were laughing hysterically. Also at church, I really enjoy taking the sacrament. I was getting pretty loud, and mommy told me to be quiet for the prayer, and then it would be time for the water. I was quiet, and when the prayer ended I yelled, "AMEN! WATER TIME!!!" Everyone around us was laughing, including Mom and Dad even though they were a little embarrassed!

Day at the park

Yesterday we had the greatest picnic "Pick-in" at the park! It was perfect weather for playing and playing and never getting too hot. Mommy, Aunt Amber, Oakley, Kalle, Cousin Heather and her family, and Lavonne (our next door neighbor who I LOVE!) and her grandson, and best of all GRAMMIE AND PAPA all came. Mommy made sandwiches, cut strawberries, got chips, juice boxes, and cookies and it was great. We ate and then just played and played! I love playing with my sand toys that I got for my birthday, climbing on the "big kid" toys (Jungle-gym) and swinging. I even survived a 5 foot fall out of a swing when Papa pushed me a little too hard. (In his defense, I am a daredevil and kept telling him to push me higher and higher!) I landed on my front (face in the sand) but I just got sand in my mouth. Papa let me have some of his soda to wash it out and I was fine. I really am such a BOY. I could play all the day long and be happy happy happy! I love all kids big and small, and adults too for that matter. I never met a person I didn't like, and as a result I always have lots of people to play with at the park (the mall, the store, anywhere!) After our picnic I was so tired that after almost a 3 hour nap mama had to wake me up to run errands. Nothing like good playing and good napping. Life is sure good as a 2 year old!

Playing at Grammie and Papa's

I really love to play at Grammie and Papa's house. When I am sad, I always say "Go home Mommy. Want go home." And by "home" I mean grammie and Papa's house! The other day Oakley and I were playing outside with Papa, and helping him in his shop. I love to drive the John Deer play car. Oakley doesn't really like to ride with me, but he's to little to reach the peddles by himself, so Papa put his big hat over Oakleys eyes so he couldn't see. Then we went in Papa's shop while he cut out wooden cars. I love all the noise and laugh and laugh when Papa uses his saws. It scares Oakley, so I try to hug him when he cries, but he doesn't like that much either.
